Last updated: 21 July 2026.These terms cover your use of the Spotlight Furnishings website and any order you place with us. By placing an order, you agree to them. They're meant to be plain and fair, not to catch anyone out.

Who we are

Spotlight Furnishings is a carpet and home-furnishings shop based in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. When we say “we” or “us”, we mean the shop.

Products and descriptions

We describe every item as honestly as we can, including its material and origin where we know them. Carpets are natural, often handmade products: small variations in colour, size and weave are normal and are part of their character, not defects. Screens also show colour differently, so a shade may look slightly different in your home.

Prices and orders

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes.
  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. We confirm the order by phone before dispatch; a sale is complete only once we've confirmed and delivered.
  • If an item is out of stock or a price is clearly wrong, we may decline or cancel the order and will tell you why. You pay nothing in that case.
  • Payment is Cash on Delivery unless we agree otherwise with you.

Returns

Returns and refunds are covered by our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

Using the website

Please use the site only to browse and order for genuine purchases. Do not attempt to disrupt it, place fraudulent orders, or misuse other people's details. We may refuse service where we reasonably suspect misuse.

Our liability

We stand behind what we sell. Our responsibility for any order is limited to the value of that order, for example, replacing or refunding an item. Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law, which always applies in addition to these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page is the current one. If anything here is unclear, please ask. Any dispute is subject to the laws of India and the courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
